Dr. Iman Rashed Alshamsi is a dedicated Nephrologist at SEHA Kidney Care, with over 14 years of experience in nephrology and internal medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, dialysis management, and chronic kidney disease (CKD) care, ensuring personalized and evidence-based treatment for her patients. Dr. Alshamsi earned her M.B.B.S. from the United Arab Emirates University College of Medicine and Health Sciences (2008) and completed her residency in internal medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (2010-2014). She further specialized in nephrology through a Nephrology Fellowship (2015-2018) at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, gaining extensive expertise in haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and transplant nephrology. Since joining SEHA Kidney Care in 2018, Dr. Alshamsi has been instrumental in providing advanced renal care and dialysis therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through her expertise in disease prevention, early intervention, and specialized kidney treatments.
