Dr. Hefsa Al Shamsi is a highly skilled Nephrology Consultant at SEHA Kidney Care – Central, with over 15 years of experience in nephrology and internal medicine. She specializes in chronic kidney disease (CKD) management, dialysis therapies, electrolyte disorders, and transplant nephrology, ensuring advanced, patient-centered renal care. Dr. Al Shamsi earned her M.B.B.S. from F.M.H. College of Medicine and Dentistry (2008) and pursued extensive training in nephrology and internal medicine. She completed her residency at Dubai Hospital (DHA) from 2009 to 2015, gaining hands-on experience in complex renal disorders and dialysis treatments. Before joining SEHA Kidney Care, she served as a Nephrology Specialist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (2015-2021), where she played a key role in enhancing nephrology services and improving patient outcomes.
