Biography

Dr Dana Kidder is a consultant nephrologist with expertise in immune-mediated kidney diseases. He has vast experience in the management of glomerulonephritis and systemic vasculitis. Dr Kidder earned his MBChB from Salahaddin University Medical School-Iraq (1998). He started training in renal medicine in 2009 at Tayside University Hospitals, Dundee, United Kingdom. He completed his PhD in glycoimmunology at the Welcome Trust Clinical PhD Programme at University of Dundee (2012). He became a consultant nephrologist in 2014 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He led a dynamic multi-disciplinary tertiary Vasculitis and Lupus clinic. The focus of the service was the provision of cutting-edge therapies to patient and improving patient outcome. The service was recognized multiple times for excellent patient outcome. Dr Kidder has wide experience in basic science and translational research. He has a wealth of experience serving as a local Principal Investigator on key clinical trials in vasculitis and glomerulonephritis. Dr Kidder joined SEHA Kidney Care in 2025. His focus is to provide world class treatment for his patients.
